Exit Junction 36 on the M6 Motorway and head west on the A590 signposted Barrow and Newby Bridge. Follow the A590 until you reach a roundabout signposted Bowness turn right onto the A592 and we are approximately three miles on the left hand side where you will see a sign for "Blakeholme And Hill Of Oaks Caravan Estate" follow the road down past the Farmhouse until you reach Reception / Shop then follow our signs until you reach the actual flying site.
ACCOMMODATION - The beautiful Hill of Oaks site has space for touring caravans, there are toilet facilities and a well stocked shop.The actual flying area is about half a mile to the front and to the left and right as far as you will be able to see your model! Several miles in fact. There are Hotels and Guest Houses nearby and many more at Bowness which is about 10 minutes by car.
